It "helped" that the Team of Hotel Alkmaar had decided to give me an upgrade to their Junior Suite. Very comfortable and roomy. I did not use the "in-room tub" which was something I had never seen before. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. My types of food, great selection, all fresh. Many different types of delicious bread. All staff that I interacted with was extremely pleasant and friendly. That definitely added to my appreciation of the hotel and made my stay very enjoyable.

Very friendly, client oriented and professional staff. Arrived and had an free upgraded room already waiting. Small issue in the room that couldn't be resolved on the spot and in return another upgrade was provided. Had a fantastic stay for myself and my child with a disability and nothing but praise for the assistance provided. 10/10 would recommend this hotel.

Very nice accommodation, comfortable beds and a sauna for family warm up after a cold day. Very good breakfast and a lot of parking places.

The staff greeted us enthusiastically and told us we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite. Arriving at the room, we found it wasn’t ready, but the receptionist had flooded us up and this was sorted extremely promptly. Lots of free parking available. We didn’t use the car as there is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel which costs €1 to the centre. Breakfast was good too.

Everything is ok. This is not the first time we have stayed here and always in the same room. This time they gave us a different room. We asked for a replacement, and they politely replaced us with the room we always stay in. I am sincerely grateful to the hotel staff 😉.

We enjoyed our visit very . being a ble to appreciate our beautiful room with staying two nights. The kindness of the staff was exceptional. The only shortfall was not having a proper restaurant for our evening meal. We have tried it out but really feel the food is very poor. If your own high quality evening meals could be reinstated the hotel would be second t o none.

The fact that I could bring my own food and warm it up in the hotel. Most hotels don’t want to do that. Very friendly staff. I never do reviews but I feel they deserve one.

Awesome kind and helpful staff. Everyone is sharp and attentive. Very easy to park and to access the room. The shower was very good, beds comfy and overall spacious. The internal parcour activity is quite interesting, such a nice touch.
